CSNICC has a proud tradition of diversity and inclusion over the years, being at the forefront of both Women’s and Youth cricket within the Northern Cricket Union and the wider cricketing family in Ireland.
The club are now proud to announce participation in the inaugural ‘ NCU Masters 100 Cup ‘ a competition aimed at players who are over 50 years of age.

The concept was the brainchild of CSNI member Paul Fitzsimons who worked closely with the NCU to get a competition launched for the 2026 season.
With an emphasis on participation and very much in the spirit of social cricket, Masters aims to target players in the twilight of their cricketing career and to try and encourage former players who may have hung up their boots back onto a cricket pitch.
The competition will be run mid week during the summer and will loosely follow the ‘100’ ball format with 20 overs of 5 balls each and the ‘Midweek’ rule of a batter retiring at 30 runs.
Participating clubs for this season are: CSNI, Waringstown, CI, Armagh, Bangor and Muckamore
It is hoped that in future seasons the competition will grow and there is even talk of a ‘ Masters Northern Knights’ which would be fantastic.

CSNI club legend John Neil has agreed to captain our Masters team and is looking forward to the season ahead.
John feels this is a great opportunity for the more senior members of our club to remain active, feel relevant and enjoy a game of cricket in a social environment where participation and fun are the major aims.
CSNI welcomes all players past and present wo are 50 ( not out) and above to sign up for the team and wishes skipper Neil and the team success in the season ahead.
