CSNICC are a successful, vibrant cricket club with mens, womens and youth sections, situated within the picturesque Stormont Estate in Belfast. We play competitive cricket in the Northern Cricket Union (NCU).
At Stormont we have two squares – the front main square and a smaller back square as well as a three lane nets area. During the season, we use the outfield for fielding drills and ocassionally an older wicket on the square for batting practice.
This is backed up with a range of changing rooms on the ground floor of the pavilion building plus a modern bar, restaurant and meeting rooms on the first floor. There is also a gym on site that members can access with a separate membership.
We have a number of qualified coaches available across youth, mens and womens sections of the club. In winter we hold pre-season training sessions for various sections of the club as well as an academy structure for our higher performing youth players.
During the season we hold training sessions throughout the week, facilities and weather permitting. There will be opportunity for different teams / squads to get together at least one night per week to work on improvements to their game.
New Members Welcome!
We are always delighted to welcome new players and members to the club. We are able to accomodate all levels of playing ability with 5 mens, 2 womens, 6 youth teams (across different age groups) and a mid-week team.
We anticipate there will be a return to training starting 12th April but due to Covid restrictions numbers will be limited. We will update members in the next few days what the procedures will be including a time table of sessions for the various sections in the club.
New Club App
We will be launching very soon our new online Registration System which will help us manage our club more efficiently. There will also be a New Club App which will be used mainly by our coaches / captains to organise training sessions, matches and communicate the latest team news.
To make sure we train and play in a safe environment the App has built in Covid Track and Trace procedures which will need to be completed for all training sessions and matches.
