We’re thrilled to announce our second signing of the off-season in Jake Collingwood.
Jake is a 19-year-old left-handed top order batsman from Perth, Western Australia. He holds an Irish passport and graced our shores last season while playing for Lurgan.
He had a standout season in Section One, scoring 726 runs and taking 26 wickets with his right-arm medium pace.
Jake will be joining us in mid-April and is looking forward to getting underway at Stormont.
“I’m super excited to be joining CSNI and I can’t wait to get started and meet everyone. Looking forward to contributing on and off the field and having a big season ahead.”
Chairman Andrew Cowden said:
“As a club we’re delighted to secure the signature of Jake Collingwood as a player/youth coach for the 2026 season and we look forward to welcoming Jake to Stormont in April.
Jake had a prolific season for Lurgan in Section One last summer and we look forward to another productive season at Stormont in 2026.
I would also like to thank our Director of Cricket, Stuart Thompson and CricX for their work in securing Jake’s signature.”
