Decathlon ‘Playdays’

In July CSNI alongside the NCU delivered cricket based activities during the Decathlon ‘Playdays’ at Holywood Exchange.
With 20+ sports to try, cricket was again leading the way at this community based event. There was something for every age and ability and facilitated people to play, explore, discover, move, connect, and have fun.
CSNI Summer Camps
CSNI delivered two summer camps at Stormont for our youth members during July and August. A range of skill practices, fun-based games and match and net based scenarios were delivered to further develop and take our youth players out of their comfort zones.
Cricket Connects Camp

More than 150 young people from CSNICC, across Belfast, the North West, and Donegal came together on Tuesday 19th August for a Cricket Connects Camp, hosted by Cricket Ireland, NCU and CSNI at Stormont.
The one-day event saw participants from a wide range of sporting backgrounds — including GAA, hockey, and rugby — take part in fun, inclusive activities designed to promote physical activity, teamwork, and community connection. For many, it was their first time trying cricket, alongside opportunities to experience other sports such as hockey and GAA.
The Cricket Connects Camp forms part of Cricket Ireland’s ongoing commitment to growing grassroots participation and working in partnership with other sporting bodies to break down barriers and create shared opportunities for young people to engage with physical activity.
NICSSA – Big Day Out

It was absolutely fantastic to support NICSSA on their 75th anniversary ‘Big Day Out’ and to have cricket on show during the day on both pitches. Our 1st XI had an excellent victory over Woodvale to conclude their Premier League season and our 4th XI entertained Ballymena 2nd XI in a thrilling game.
NICSSA welcomed members from across the whole of Northern Ireland to be a part of this special occasion! A range of activities were organised creating a great Family Fun Day out for all those attending.
