Former Club professional Marc Ellison has rejoined CSNICC following his return to Northern Ireland.
Marc averaged 46.5 runs during his previous spell at the club in 2011 when the Club finished fourth in the league and lost out in the Challenge Cup Final to Waringstown.
Talking about his return Marc said: "I have very fond memories of my time at CSNI and Peter McMorran did a wonderful job in ensuring our young family felt very welcome.
"It's fantastic being back at the club. One of the best things is that, even after being away for six years, so many players and personalities remain. That's unique in my experience. I 'm really excited about the challenge we're currently facing and to continue the good work done over the last four to five weeks and solidify our place in the premier League.
"Watching on from afar, it seems as though we're pretty close to getting it right. I'm looking forward to being apart of this great group of guys and experiencing more successes."
Marc’s first match back was in the recent match against CIYMS and his return will further strengthen the 1st XIteam.
Club Chairman, Ivan McMinn, said: "Marc’s return is welcomed by everyone involved at the Club. He was a popular character both on and off the field when he was here in 2011 and to have him return to CSNI will bolster the team and provides a huge moral boost to the Club."
Graeme McCarter, Club Captain, said: "It's great to have Marc back as we need to strengthen the top order and from what I’ve seen so far he is exactly what we need! Also, his enthusiasm around the club has been brilliant which will help everyone else."
