Civil Service North of Ireland Cricket Club (CSNI) recently held a charity Casino Evening, sponsored by Abbey Bond Lovis, at La Mon Hotel & Country Club.
The James Bond ‘themed’ evening saw guests arrive to a driveway lined with Bond style Aston Martin’s before being treated to a drinks reception to start their evening’s entertainment.
Ivan McMinn, Club Chairman, said: “The Casino Evening was thoroughly enjoyable and treated our Club members, sponsors and corporate guests to a fabulous evening. From a driveway of Aston Martin’s to chances to win big at the roulette wheel guests were treated to a fantastic experience.
Fundraising is an important aspect of how we continue to grow and invest in our cricket club and I am delighted that we are also able to support three local charities; Northern Ireland Pancreatic Cancer (NIPanC), Cancer Focus and Brain Injury Matters.
I wish to thank Abbey Bond Lovis for sponsoring our event and Charles Hurst for their wonderful support throughout. I want to thank all of the Club’s sponsors who have provided support to the Club throughout the year, their assistance in invaluable to the ongoing work at CSNI.”
After their meal, guests were able to enjoy the full casino experience as they played the various tables. Guests were treated to a silent auction with contained various sporting prizes and also a tour of the Aston Martin Factory, donated by Charles Hurst.
