CSNI U11’s crowned All Ireland Champions!

Our Under 11’s recently won the AllIreland title after beating St Johnston by 10 wickets on a damp day atStormont.

St Johnston were dismissed for 59 with James West, son ofclub stalwart Regan West, taking St Johnston apart with five wickets for justsix runs. Harry Dyer (two wickets) Adam Lecky and Yuv Pahuja were the otherwicket takers for CSNI.

CSNI knocked the runs of easily in just 7.1 overs with RyanHunter smashing 49 not out from just 34 balls, which included 10 boundaries.

Club Chairman, Ivan McMinn, said: “This is an outstandingachievement for the club’s younger members and a lot of credit must be given tothe youth coaches who have developed the skills foundation for our players.

At CSNI we continually strive to develop our home grownplayers and by winning this trophy it clearly indicates that our longer termplans are beginning to come to fruition.

I want to congratulate all the Under 11 players andcoaches involved and I look forward to seeing how these talented young playersdevelop further through our winter academy.”
